LANGUAGE LAB Language lab has been established in our college so that teachers and students can access a variety of audio and video lessons. As the users are exposed to the language and style of native language speakers they are able to improve their language skills. Tangible results of education in a foreign language requires an emphasis on communication and training. These are the two aspects that are taken care of in our language lab. Separate hours for practice are provided to our students and interested students are encouraged to make a greater use of the lab resources. PSYCHOLOGY LAB The B.Ed. trainees are to be acquainted with the methods of applying psychological principles in their pedagogy. Apart from providing a conceptual framework to concepts like learning, memory, retention, span of attention etc., the student teachers are to be sensitized to the need of carrying out experiments on these concepts. The psychology lab of our college caters to this need of trainees. It is a storehouse of innumerable apparatus and tools to carry out experiments and tools in psychology. Regular sessions are devoted to encourage the students make use of the psychology laboratory.  It is a workplace where the trainees develop understanding of the various terms in Educational Psychology. PHYSICAL SCIENCE LAB To provide maximum pupil activity, the practical work is made a prominent feature in the B.Ed. Course.  The Physical Science Laboratory of the college has a good collection of both Physics and Chemistry working and static models, equipments, apparatus and chemicals, related to high and higher secondary level.  The laboratory provides practical training to the student teachers on different occasions.  -       Students rehearse the experiments to be performed in their respective schools during preliminary and intensive teaching practice.  -       They perform experiments and maintain a practical record notebook. BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE LAB The very nature of Biology requires the active involvement of those who wish to teach it in carrying out investigations in the laboratory. Preparation and examination of microscopic slides, preservation of specimens, demonstration of experiments, exploration of physiological process, development of teaching models, dissection work, maintenance of aquarium and establishment of bottle gardens are some of the enjoyable educational endeavours carried out by our prospective biology  teachers in the Biology lab. Apart from these the Biology labis  a forum where discussions on various issues in Bio-Science are held to help the trainees gain cognizance of the recent trends and developments in Biology. COMPUTER SCIENCE  LAB Our computer lab is the hub of all activities at Annammal. Well equipped and furnished, it remains the major attraction to all our students. Free Internet connectivity all through the college working hours is a boon to all the students. Updating the lab is a continuous process aimed at keeping abreast of the technological innovations. The lab also has a good reserve of CDs of educational and recreational value. MATHEMATICS LAB  Mathematics laboratory is a collection of tools for communicating and getting to understand mathematical concepts, relations, algorithms etc. Instruction in the Math Lab is very informal. The idea is to make math easier to "get into" and understand by visualization and interactivity, which can bring both figures and formulae to life. The purpose of the Math lab is to aid students in developing their mathematical abilities. Math labs are yet to receive its due place in schools and teacher training institutions. In our college we have a mathematics lab where the teacher trainees get training in converting mathematical principles to mathematical experiments and thus find ways to impart effective mathematics education. HISTORY LAB Teaching History has many limitations compared to that of other subjects. At the same time it cannot be denied that there are a plethora of  ways to keep the learner of History engaged  and entertained. Our History lab, though in its infancy is a  novel attempt to make learning and teaching History a fun. It serves as a place where various historical places and legendary figures are brought to to the classroom setting for an easy understanding of the phenomena involved.
